In a world filled with the dangerous undercurrents of the mafia, Alina's life takes an unexpected and terrifying turn. Alina, the youngest daughter of the Russian mafia Don, Nikolia Fedorov, finds herself at odds with her sisters and constantly under the harsh scrutiny of her father. A simple night out at a club leads to a fateful encounter with Dante Morelli, a powerful mafia boss whose parents were killed by Alina's father.

Their initial meeting is anything but pleasant. Alina accidentally bumps into Dante at the club and, in her haste to leave, gives a less - than - satisfactory apology. This sets off a chain of events that will change her life forever. Dante, enraged by her rudeness, vows to make her pay. Little does Alina know that this encounter is just the beginning of her troubles.

Back at home, Alina's father discovers that she and her sisters went to the club. He is furious, not only because they disobeyed him but also because they are in Dante's territory. Alina tries to defend herself, but her father and sisters turn against her, leaving her feeling isolated and alone.

Things take an even more unexpected turn when Dante is invited to Alina's home. Nikolia proposes a marriage alliance between Dante and one of his daughters as a way to end the long - standing feud between their families. Alina is horrified when she learns that she is the one chosen for this forced marriage. She has heard countless stories about Dante's cruelty and knows that her life will be in danger if she marries him.

Despite her protests, Alina is left with no choice. Dante accepts the proposal, and Alina is faced with a difficult decision. She can either refuse and risk a bloodbath that will endanger her entire family or accept the marriage and hope to find a way to survive.

As the wedding day arrives, Alina is filled with dread. The church is beautifully decorated, but she feels like a prisoner in her own wedding gown. Dante, on the other hand, seems confident and almost gleeful. During the ceremony, Dante's words and actions only add to Alina's fear and loathing. He whispers threats in her ear and forces the wedding ring onto her finger, causing her pain.

When the priest asks Alina if she takes Dante as her husband, she hesitates. Her mind is in turmoil. She thinks about all the ways her life will change if she says "I do." She imagines a future filled with fear, abuse, and a loveless marriage. But then she looks at the crowd and sees Dante's men, ready to unleash violence at the slightest sign of trouble. She thinks of her family, their faces flashing before her eyes. She knows that if she refuses, they will pay the ultimate price.

In a moment of desperation, Alina makes her decision. "I do accept Dante as my husband," she says, her voice barely above a whisper. As the words leave her lips, a sense of resignation washes over her. She feels like she has just signed away her freedom, but she tells herself that it's for the greater good of her family.

She can't help but wonder what the future holds. Will Dante keep his promise and not harm her? Or will he make her life a living hell? Alina is determined to find a way to survive this marriage, even if it means going against everything she believes in. She knows that she is now in a dangerous game, and the stakes couldn't be higher. But deep down, a small part of her hopes that there might be more to Dante than the ruthless mafia boss she thinks he is. Maybe, just maybe, there is a glimmer of hope for a better future, but for now, all she can do is brace herself for whatever lies ahead.
