At the reception, I was surrounded by strangers. I saw my family, and it was a strange feeling. They bowed to me, not recognizing me as Mildred. Molly almost did, but Enid whisked me away in time. Then, a woman named Marcella approached me. She seemed to know Ximena well and threatened me. She gave me 72 hours to either divorce Enid or stick to some mysterious plan. I had no idea what she was talking about, but I knew I was in deep trouble.

Back in our room, Enid laid down the rules. I had to act like Ximena, stay away from my family, and not expect any love or affection from him. He made it clear that I still disgusted him, and the only reason I was there was because of the wedding and the elders' demands.

As I sit on the bed, alone in this unfamiliar room, I can't help but wonder what the future holds. Who is Ximena? What is the secret between her and Marcella?
