This novel tells the story of Arsyila Devina, a young woman from a village who works as a personal caretaker for Arham Alphanendra, a wealthy but paralyzed man. Arham, once involved in an accident that left him unable to use his legs, is a complex character who struggles with feelings of inadequacy and loneliness despite his wealth and the attention of his girlfriend, Amanda.

Arsyila's life is challenging. She works tirelessly to care for Arham, cleaning, feeding him, and attending to his needs around the clock. Despite her hard work, she faces mistreatment and bullying from other servants in the house, who resent her higher salary and special position. Arsyila endures their scorn and even physical abuse, driven by her need to support her sick mother back in the village.

The tension between Arham and Arsyila is palpable. Arham often takes out his frustrations on Arsyila, berating her for minor mistakes or perceived slights. However, there are moments when their relationship shows signs of deeper connection. Arsyila's loyalty and kindness occasionally break through Arham's bitterness, revealing a fragile bond between them.

The plot takes a dramatic turn when Amanda, Arham's girlfriend, reveals she is pregnant and claims the child is Arham's. Arham, who has never been intimate with Amanda since his accident, is devastated and feels betrayed. In a fit of anger, he throws a vase at Arsyila when she delivers the news, causing her to faint from a fear of blood. This incident leads to a moment of vulnerability for both characters, as Arham tends to Arsyila's wound and experiences a pang of guilt.

Arsyila's life becomes even more complicated when Arham's aunt, Nana, arrives. Nana is a manipulative and ambitious woman who seeks to control Arham's wealth. She exploits Arham's weakened state and the servants' loyalty to further her own interests. Arsyila finds herself caught in the middle of Nana's schemes, facing threats and accusations from her aunt.

The story reaches a climax when Arham is found drunk and unconscious in Arsyila's room, leading to a confrontation with Nana. Nana accuses Arsyila of taking advantage of Arham, but Arsyila insists she was only helping him. Arham is rushed to the hospital, where it is revealed that he overdosed on alcohol. Nana, pretending to be concerned, takes money from Arham's company under the guise of paying for his medical expenses, all while plotting to take over his business.

Throughout the ordeal, Arsyila remains a steadfast presence in Arham's life. Despite the hardships and misunderstandings, she continues to care for him, even as he grapples with his anger and disappointment. The novel explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the complexities of human relationships, set against the backdrop of wealth and power dynamics.
