*Mysterious Mrs. Pansy* is a modern romantic novel full of romance and twists and turns. The male protagonist, Patrick Pansy, has become a formidable CEO of the Pansy Group at a young age. He exudes an air of unquestionable authority, stirring up the business world and making others look up to him with awe. The female protagonist, Jane North, hails from the countryside. She is naturally beautiful, and her charm is evident even without the need for makeup. Their fates are closely intertwined by a family-arranged engagement, jointly composing an ups-and-downs and gripping love story.

At the beginning of the story, Jane steps out of the Guavo train station and sets foot on this unfamiliar land. She is dressed in a simple white T-shirt and jeans. The sunlight shines on her delicate face, and a few strands of curly hair casually hang by her cheeks. She gently tucks them behind her ears, and her natural and innocent beauty is a real eye-catcher. The driver who comes to pick her up looks at this young woman and secretly speculates about the challenges she will face in the Pansy family.

After Jane arrives at the luxurious mansion of the Pansy family, she encounters a lot of unfriendliness. Patrick's mother, Beatrice Pansy, upon seeing Jane from the countryside, is full of disdain. She even asks the maid to spray disinfectant on Jane, claiming that it is to prevent the viruses and bacteria she might bring. Jane doesn't back down and retorts wittily, showing her independence and tenacity. And Patrick's cousin, Melissa, also harbors great disdain for Jane. She mocks Jane from her clothes to her mode of transportation.

By an odd twist of fate, Jane mistakenly enters Patrick's room and sleeps in his bed for a night. When Patrick returns late at night and, in a drunken state, fails to notice Jane's presence, the two end up embracing and sleeping together. The next morning, misunderstandings arise, and their first meeting is full of tension. Nevertheless, due to the family's arrangement, Jane becomes Patrick's secretary, and they go to the company together.

In the company, rumors about Patrick's fiancée have already spread like wildfire. The employees all think that Jane is a woman from the countryside without any charm. However, when Jane appears with Patrick, everyone is amazed by her beauty and elegance. But there are also those who are jealous, such as Monica, the head of the secretarial department, who is full of hostility towards Jane.

During an advertisement shoot, Jane is in charge of dealing with the famous and bad-tempered star, Carl Waters. Everyone thinks that Jane will get into trouble because of this, but unexpectedly, Carl's attitude changes completely when he sees Jane. It turns out that Jane saved Carl from being kidnapped in the countryside two years ago, and since then, Carl has held her in great respect. The shooting process goes smoothly, and Carl even invites Jane to have dinner together, but Jane refuses.

Later, at a family dinner, Carl learns about Jane and Patrick's engagement. Surprised, he bluntly says that Patrick doesn't deserve Jane. This makes Patrick unhappy, and he begins to suspect that there is a special relationship between Jane and Carl.

At the anniversary celebration of the Pansy Group, Jane faces challenges again. Florence Doyle, Patrick's childhood sweetheart, appears. She takes out a bank card with ten million dollars on it, trying to persuade Jane to cancel the engagement with Patrick. Naturally, Jane refuses, and her attitude angers Florence. Subsequently, Florence suggests having a piano competition with Jane, attempting to make Jane look bad. Little does she know that Jane became a piano virtuoso at the age of ten. Her performance amazes everyone and easily defeats Florence.

At this time, Hamilton Grey, the butler of the North family, shows up. He brings generous gifts from Old North, Jane's grandfather, to the Pansy family. This makes everyone praise the generosity of the North family and also triggers a discussion about the identity of Old North's granddaughter. Florence lies that she has met Old North's granddaughter, and Jane just smiles without exposing her.

After the celebration ends, Jane is ready to take a taxi and leave alone, but Patrick insists that she take his car back. The two have another argument in the car, and Jane becomes even more disgusted with Patrick's bossiness. And when Florence sees the two leaving in the same car, she is filled with jealousy. So she calls Monica and tries to make her cause trouble for Jane in the company.

The story has developed to this point, full of suspense and surprises. Jane faces numerous difficulties and challenges in the Pansy family and the company, and the relationship between her and Patrick is also undergoing subtle changes amidst constant friction. And with Carl's appearance and the obstruction from Florence and others, many more twists and turns are added to this relationship.
