Wills denies it, blaming the injury on his size, adding a rather awkward and tense element to their relationship.

Back at school, the scandal of Aven and Elise's affair spreads like wildfire, with Luna being the victim who inadvertently reveals the truth, causing Elise to become the target of public scorn. Meanwhile, Wills continues to contact Luna, bringing up seemingly trivial matters like the unwashed car after the rain, keeping her entangled in a web of emotions and events she desperately wants to break free from.

This novel is a rollercoaster of emotions, exploring themes of love, betrayal, power, and the unexpected twists of fate that can change a person's life in an instant.
