Rita Brown, who was having a high fever, found herself reborn three years ago. She had been in love with Liam Wilson for eight years and was married to him for three years, but he only had hatred for her due to various reasons, including the death of Joey Nash. Rita, realizing the futility of her love, decided to get a divorce.

However, Liam refused, blaming her for Joey's death and vowing to torture her. Later, Rita encountered her cousin Charlotte, who tried to set her up by giving her a pill to make her pregnant with Liam's child, just as she had done in the previous life. But this time, Rita was determined to fight back and threw the pill away. She also told Liam she planned to go back to school, which surprised him. After Charlotte left, Rita slept and was later startled when Liam came to her bed.
