Elaine wakes up in a hotel presidential suite, naked and with a headache, realizing she had a wild night after the college entrance exam. She doesn't remember what happened but suspects she may have slept with a man. She flees the hotel in panic and returns home, where her sister Ellie questions her about where she slept. Elaine is unable to answer truthfully and manages to avoid further interrogation. Later, she learns that her friend Hazel helped her cover up by saying she slept at her place. Hazel reveals that Elaine drank a lot that night, saw a handsome guy, and even called him a gigolo before approaching him. Elaine is horrified to realize she may have slept with a gigolo and lost her virginity.

During the summer vacation, Elaine looks for a job to help her family with finances as her mother is deceased and her father is a bus driver with a low income. She receives an interview call from Tianyi Group and is shocked when she is hired as the temporary assistant to President Smith. She initially assumes President Smith is an old man but is stunned when she meets him and realizes he is extremely handsome.
