The Lycan King's Fated Mate novel  is a fantasy - filled novel brimming with emotional entanglements. The story revolves around the female protagonist, Ashley, and the twin male protagonists, Lucas and Simon. Ashley was originally an ordinary werewolf girl, but due to the tricks of fate, she was caught up in a series of thrilling and painful events. In Klaus's pack, she endured endless humiliation and abuse and was even threatened to be sold to the cruel werewolf twins. Eventually, she was sold to the pack where Lucas and Simon were.

In this new pack, Ashley discovered that Lucas and Simon were actually her mates. However, Simon despised Ashley, who was a slave and lacked a wolf form, and firmly intended to reject her. Lucas, on the other hand, was caught in an emotional struggle. On one hand, he had special feelings for Ashley, and on the other hand, he faced strong opposition from Simon and the pressure from the pack.

At a gathering, Simon announced that Veronica was their destined mate, which broke Ashley's heart. She bravely stood up to state that she was their true mate but was brutally treated by Simon. At a critical moment, Lucas came forward to protect Ashley and announced to everyone that Ashley was his destined mate.
