I am Lillian, and this is the story of how my life took a nightmarish turn. After years away in Spain, I returned home, excited to reunite with my family. Little did I know that the happiness would be short-lived.

Reuniting with my parents was initially heartwarming. Their hugs and smiles made me feel loved, and I was looking forward to creating new memories. But then, everything shattered. My father announced that I was to be married, and not just to anyone, but to a stranger named Don. I was stunned and in disbelief. I begged my parents, hoping it was a cruel joke, but their expressions told me otherwise.

Mark, my childhood best friend, became my only source of comfort. He showed up when I needed him the most, and we spent a wonderful day together, forgetting the world around us. But then, my mother's call interrupted our time, and I was forced to return home.

The situation at home grew more and more suffocating. I felt betrayed by my parents, and the thought of marrying a stranger filled me with dread. I decided to leave, and Mark offered to help. But before I could escape, I was drugged and held hostage in my own room.

When I finally regained consciousness, I found myself locked in my room, helpless and confused. Then, I was told that my mother was ill, and when I saw her, my heart broke. She asked me to accept the marriage proposal for her sake, and I didn't know what to do.

As the story unfolds, I will have to find a way to break free from this forced marriage and uncover the truth behind my parents' actions. Will I be able to escape this nightmare and find my own happiness? Or will I be trapped in a life I never wanted? This is my journey, filled with heartache, betrayal, and the hope for a better future.
