In the darkness, Lyana was haunted by nightmares, the painful memories of being violated five years ago. She not only lost her virginity but also suffered a stillbirth ten months later. Then, she was sent to a mental hospital by her mother and sister. After more than four years of confinement, she was picked up by her family, only to be caught in a conspiratorial marriage. Her sister, Ines, was supposed to marry Vincent from the Sanchez family, but Vincent was said to be ugly and short-lived. So, the family wanted Lyana to marry in Inès' place.

Lyana refused the marriage and demanded that the family return the shares left to her by her grandmother. At the Sanchez family's, she was attacked by Vincent's pet snake but dealt with it calmly. She also said she could save Vincent. Vincent suddenly fell ill, and Lyana treated him with acupuncture. Vincent's attitude towards her became complicated. Lyana learned that Vincent was investigating her, and she herself was also investigating what happened five years ago. She found that Vincent was also investigating the same thing and suspected that the man from five years ago was related to Vincent.

Back at the Dubois family, Vincent accompanied her to face the ridicule of her family. Vincent showed a powerful aura, protected Lyana, and made her family embarrassed. When Inès appeared wearing a jade pendant similar to the one from five years ago, Lyana's anger exploded. She remembered the past pain and hit Inès hard. Then, she left. Vincent watched her leave and walked towards Inès to ask about the owner of the jade pendant.

Lyana fought strongly in the difficult situation. From getting back the shares to dealing with the Sanchez family, she gradually showed a strong and unyielding character. Vincent's appearance brought new variables to her fate, and their relationship was full of tension, from the initial suspicion to the later interaction. Whether Lyana can get rid of the shadow of the past and whether Vincent can solve the mystery, and how their fates will be intertwined and developed, is really exciting to look forward to.
