In the mysterious and cruel world of werewolves, the fate of Danika Michaels hangs by a thread.
On the training ground, her sister Bianca rages like a demon, raining down punches and kicks on her mercilessly. "Come on, you worthless good-for-nothing!" She carefully prepares breakfast for her family in the kitchen. However, fate once again shows its hideous grin. The plate that her father loves slips from her hand, and the sound of it shattering is like the breaking of her heart. Her father's curses come down like a storm, "I curse the day you were born!"
