Grace's life takes a tumultuous turn after her birthday party. Her boyfriend, Victor, drugs her and arranges for her to be in a compromising situation with another man. However, Alpha Nelson Divine, the president of the Divine group, intervenes and claims her as his fianceé to protect her from the scandal.

Grace discovers that Victor wanted to end their engagement because he fell in love with Cindy Rodriguez, who is jealous of Grace's connection to Alpha Nelson. Despite the chaos, Grace realizes she can use the situation to her advantage, especially considering her family's difficult circumstances, including her mother's alcoholism, cancer, and her brother's inability to attend school.

Alpha Nelson proposes a contract marriage to Grace, which she initially hesitates about but eventually accepts. They sign the marriage certificate, and he gives her an expensive ring. Grace returns to work and faces questions from her boss about her relationship with Alpha Nelson. Her boss asks her to arrange an exclusive interview with him for the company.

Cindy, who is also involved in the situation, mocks Grace's ability to secure the interview. Grace stands up to Cindy and promises her boss that she will convince Alpha Nelson to come. Now, Grace is faced with the challenge of asking Alpha Nelson for the interview while dealing with the complications of her new marriage and the ongoing drama with Victor and Cindy.
