The story revolves around June Rivera, a woman whose life takes a dramatic and tragic turn on her third wedding anniversary. June returns home to find her husband, Ethan, and her younger sister, April, announcing that April is pregnant with Ethan's child. June is devastated as Ethan coldly divorces her, accusing her of being barren and claiming he never loved her. As June and Rafael clash, Luis becomes fond of June and sees her as a potential mother figure. June, despite her dire circumstances, finds solace in protecting Luis and begins to plot her revenge against those who wronged her, including her mother, sister, and ex-husband. The story sets the stage for June's journey of reclaiming her life, seeking justice, and possibly finding new love and family in the most unexpected places.
