Rose and the Werewolf King are the main characters in the novel "Werewolf King, Please Don't Marry Me!". In this novel, Rose is a medical student with a straightforward personality. She is under the dual pressures of her studies and family affairs. Her originally planned vacation was disrupted by her parents, and she reluctantly set off on a journey to Alaska. During breakfast, the serious conversation between her parents catches the attention of her and her brother Mark. It turns out that something has happened to her mother's side of the family, and the whole family has to go to Alaska. This news comes as a huge shock to Rose. She tries her best to resist because that place was a nightmare for her in her childhood. She clearly knows that the relatives there dislike her. However, under the emotional pressure from her parents, especially when she sees her mother's tearful pleading, she finally gives in and books the tickets to Alaska.
After arriving in Alaska, a series of misfortunes befall Rose one after another. Soon after reuniting with her uncles, she gets accidentally injured when going out to see a waterfall and is heartlessly abandoned in the dark forest by her brother and cousins who are with her. Left alone and helpless, she not only has a splitting headache but also loses her newly bought mobile phone. Her heart is filled with despair and anger, and her resentment towards her family grows deeper. However, bad luck never comes alone. A growl breaks the short-lived peace in the forest, and a gigantic werewolf suddenly appears. The werewolf is full of a mysterious aura. Its fur shines like gold in the moonlight, and its huge figure makes Rose tremble with fear. She thinks she is doomed. But just when the werewolf is about to lunge at her, it miraculously turns around and runs away.
Before Rose can fully recover from the shock, she discovers that her uncles, along with some villagers, are walking through the forest with weapons in their hands, and their target is the werewolf that has spared her life. Hiding behind a tree, Rose witnesses this brutal hunt. Her uncles attack mercilessly. Although the werewolf fights back bravely, it is still severely wounded. Rose can't bear to see this in her heart and is extremely angry at her uncles' behavior. But fear paralyzes her and makes her unable to move. Finally, the werewolf collapses exhausted after the fierce counterattack. At this moment, an astonishing thing happens.
