In a world filled with pain and despair, Jojo's life has been a constant battle. From a young age, she has endured the wrath of her father's violence and the cruelty of her aunt and cousins. But through it all, she has remained strong, determined to protect her sister Valerie and find a way to survive.

Jojo's earliest memories are of her father's drunken rage and the fear it instilled in her. One fateful night, his violence reached a terrifying climax, leaving Jojo with a deep scar on her left arm and her mother in a coma. With no other options, Jojo is forced to consider a path she never thought she would take.

As she stands at the crossroads of her life, Jojo must make a choice that could change everything. Will she sacrifice her dignity and values to save her mother, or will she find another way to overcome the seemingly insurmountable odds? The journey ahead is filled with uncertainty and danger, but Jojo is a survivor. And with Valerie's love and the memory of her mother's strength, she will fight until the very end.
