In the bustling urban workplace, I, Vlora Anderson, an executive secretary to the CEO of Greatech, have always been efficient and professional, adhering to a practical and unpretentious attitude. Little did I expect that my peaceful life would be completely disrupted by the appearance of Andreas Sanders.
Andreas, a man closely associated with my boss, Lucas Hernandez, is always full of surprises. One day, out of the blue, he said to me, "Marry me." Those two simple words left me stunned, and I wondered if he was in his right mind. He is handsome and confident, with a glint of temptation and mischief in his eyes. But this sudden proposal caught me completely off guard.
He repeatedly corrected the way I addressed him, emphasizing that we were not in a formal boss-subordinate relationship, trying to bring us closer. However, in my view, we were far from being on familiar enough terms to call each other by our first names. His words were bold and direct, and even mentioning children made me increasingly embarrassed. His actions became even more excessive when he suddenly kissed me in the elevator. I struggled with all my might, but was trapped between him and the elevator wall. His kiss was passionate and skillful, and to my shame, my body had an instinctive reaction in the midst of my anger and shock.
Later, in the parking lot, he stopped me again, declaring his seriousness and saying that he wanted me to be his wife, not his lover. But his numerous past relationships made it impossible for me to believe his sincerity. I made it clear to him that I didn't want to be part of his collection of conquests. I have my own value and dignity.
The next day at the office, he flirted with me in front of Lucas, making me feel extremely awkward in the workplace. His presence was constant, disturbing my peace of mind. And Lucas also warned him not to mess with me, considering that I was his capable assistant. But Andreas bluntly stated that he was serious about me and wanted me to be his wife, which only added to my confusion.
Later, he caught me during a break at work and approached me again, referring to the kiss in the elevator and attempting to discuss our relationship. He proposed a deal, hoping I would give him a chance to have dinner together and see if we were compatible. If not, he would leave me alone. I wanted to refuse, but his words cornered me, and I finally reluctantly agreed.
Now, standing at this emotional crossroads, I am filled with confusion and unease. Andreas' burning passion overwhelms me, and I don't know his true intentions or if I can resist his charm. This sudden love storm, where will it lead me? Will I fall into his web of love, or will I hold on to my original self? The future is full of uncertainties, and I can only move forward cautiously in this complex emotional entanglement, searching for my own answers.
