The story begins in Ciudad La Rosa during the spring equinox. I, Sofia Morales Borbon, at the age of 20, arrive at the La Rosa Cultural Center with anticipation, ready to attend my graduation ceremony and receive the title of Certified Public Accountant. This should have been a moment of glory, but my parents' absence fills me with disappointment. Their constant disregard has always been with me, and I can only swallow the bitterness alone. I decide to go to a discotheque with my roommates to celebrate.
At the discotheque, in the midst of the revelry, I suddenly feel unwell, dizzy, with severe stomach pain, and even have difficulty speaking and moving. I realize that I might have been drugged, and then I am attacked by a stranger who attempts to violate me. Just when I am struggling in despair, a strong man appears, rescues me, and takes me to his private room. Under the influence of drugs and alcohol, I have a relationship with this man whose name I don't even know, and thus lose my virginity in a daze.
The next day when I wake up, I find myself in an unfamiliar place, with a splitting headache, pain and a burning sensation in my lower body, and my memory is a blur. My phone and bag are nowhere to be found. After finally finding my things and leaving, when I return to my residence, I try hard to recall what happened that night, but I can only piece together fragmented and chaotic fragments, which makes me decide never to go to that place again.
Two weeks later, I experience new symptoms in my body, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, pelvic pain, and extreme exhaustion. After going to the clinic for an examination, it is like a bolt from the blue that I am pregnant, and with triplets. This news completely disrupts my life, and all my plans go down the drain. I know deep down that my parents won't really support me. Facing this sudden situation, I am deeply trapped and lost in thought.
I confess to my friends what happened on the graduation night. Although they are shocked, they offer to share the burden with me, but I don't want to involve them. So, I decide to go to the discotheque to find the truth, trying to identify the man who got me pregnant from the surveillance videos. However, I am told that the system is cleared every day and the recordings are no longer available.
This experience has transformed me from a girl who pursues freedom and desires independence into someone who is suddenly caught in the mire of life, facing difficult choices about my future and life. In this difficult situation, I start to reflect on my life, thinking about how to face everything alone in this complex world, and searching for the way forward in the face of the unexpected and setbacks. Where will my fate lead me? Everything is full of uncertainty and challenges.
