Lily's story begins on a gloomy July day in Florida. It was the last day of her high school, which was supposed to be filled with excitement, but she was full of worries instead. Her father expected her to be happy, yet she was deeply immersed in the confusion about the future and the longing for someone. Lily knew that after this day, she would bid farewell to the familiar school life and had to face the world head-on, and the person she had been secretly watching would disappear from her sight.

Lily considered herself ordinary. She had long wavy brown hair and emerald green eyes. Although she had a curvaceous figure, it was always hidden under loose clothes. She hated her body because she was often teased and desired to be as skinny as the girls who were always around him at school. Her mother, the most beautiful person in her heart, passed away three years ago due to cancer, leaving her with an indelible pain. She often got lost in memories, blaming herself and being filled with sorrow that she couldn't let go.

At school, the relationship between Lily and her best friend Tiffany had a subtle change. Tiffany was sexy and carefree. She reminded Lily to attend the celebration party at the bar after school but disliked Lily's outfit. When Lily was preparing, she hesitated about what to wear and finally decided to go to the party because she learned that Alexander would be there. Alexander was extremely handsome and charming, and every time he appeared, Lily's heart would flutter. At the party, Lily saw Alexander being intimate with a beautiful girl and left heartbroken. Then she encountered her brother Chase, who scolded and humiliated her. The once-close siblings' relationship had broken down because Lily rejected Chase's feelings. Chase's actions had hurt Lily both physically and mentally, and she was in great pain.

Fortunately, Alexander saved Lily at the critical moment and took her back to his home. After waking up, Lily faced the unfamiliar environment and had a thousand thoughts in her mind. She recalled all the past events and was full of confusion about the future, not knowing what to do. In Alexander's house, she first met an unfriendly maid and then saw Alexander in the dining room. At his request, she had a meal. During the meal, Lily felt the variability of Alexander's emotions. Sometimes he was gentle, and sometimes he was irritable, which made Lily unable to figure him out.

After leaving Alexander's house, Lily returned home and received an astonishing news: her father arranged for her to marry Alexander, and Alexander's father was also there to confirm this. Both Lily and Alexander were shocked and confused, not knowing why fate had such an arrangement. Lily stood there, her heart full of questions, uneasiness, and fear of the future. It seemed that her fate had taken a huge turn at this moment. The story thus entered a new chapter. How would she face this sudden marriage arrangement? And how would she find her way in the complex emotional and family relationships? Everything was full of suspense.
