Elaine and Azaire are the male and female protagonists in the novel "Tasting The Enemy". Azaire and his companions suspect that the Black Claw pack has deliberately done this to stir up trouble and weaken the strength of other packs. During the investigation, Azaire accidentally finds Elaine appearing in some suspicious situations, which makes him suspicious of Elaine's motives. On the one hand, he warns himself to be wary of this member of the Black Claw pack, while on the other hand, he can't help being attracted by her every move.
As the story progresses, Elaine struggles in the predicament.
