Emma, a young girl, finds herself in a desolate two-bedroom bungalow in an unknown British county. Sent here by her father, she is faced with a dilapidated house in desperate need of repair. The kitchen is a mess, with old cupboards, a stained sink, and broken plates, while the sitting room and bedrooms have dangling ceilings and damaged furniture.
