In the small town of Ridgewood, Elena Deloris was once a shy and studious girl. But everything changed when she entered Ivy Prose High School. In the classroom, Elena sits in front of Daniel. She can feel his eyes on her, and it makes her skin crawl. She tries to focus on the lesson, but her mind is racing. She knows they're planning something, and she's terrified of what it might be.
When the class ends, Daniel stops Ava from leaving with Elena. He wants to talk to Ava alone, and Elena is left to wonder what he's up to. She walks out of the classroom, feeling more alone than ever.
